Opal Vinopal is the solo project from songwriter/guitarist, Mike Vinopal, best known as the founder of his funky rock ‘n soul band, Local Motive. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Vinopal was immersed in a musical family with his dad and uncles often gathering around the family piano with guitars to harmonize to their favorite Beatles' songs. His songs draw on the inspiration provided by this upbringing, mixed together with all the turbulent emotions he’s navigated throughout his adult life, creating a deeply vulnerable catalog of solo material.

2025 brought the collection of music entitled SALVAGE SONGS & new songs for 2026 as well, unrestricted by genre labels or the desire to fit into certain categories. Vinopal’s only desire is to continue sharing empathy-soaked compositions and collaborations of his, as often as he can, for as long as he can.

Wyatt Waddell is a 28-year-old singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Chicago, celebrated for his intricate melodies, exuberant stage presence, and a dynamic vocal range that spans from the raw grit of Mavis Staples to the melodic clarity of Paul McCartney. Raised just a block from the famed O-Block, Waddell grew up immersed in a rich sonic world that blended the soulful storytelling of The Beatles with the electrifying showmanship of Michael Jackson and the heartfelt songwriting of Billy Joel.
